• Drive-in Movies - See our main page under movies.  Admission is quite a bit cheaper than a movie theater.  You can bring you own food if you like.  Food at the snack bar is far more reasonable than indoor theaters.

• The Erie Canal Museum on Erie Blvd. in Syracuse is free.

• Highland Forest - 20 Miles of trails, admission $1/vehicle.  Hiking/cross country skiing (rental available)/horseback riding (cost unavailable)/hayrides/Sleigh rides

• The Hollywood Theater and Palace Theater - Have movies a few months old. Admission and food is cheap.  Hollywood Theater is in Mattydale, NY

• Onondaga Park - Free walking/skating/biking trail along Onondaga Lake.  Free Tram rides the length of the park. Salt Museum admission is free.  Longbranch Park (at the North end of Onondaga) has a free Archery Range. Also a free dog park, to let your dog run and play with other dogs.

• Party in the Plaza - Free entertainment Wednesday nights at the Federal Building most of the Summer.

• Stewart Park (Ithaca) - At the Southern end of Cayuga Lake - Picnicking/Duck Pond/Carousel

• Syracuse Parks - Admission free/ free swimming in many park pools/many organized activities/various sports

• Syracuse Rose Garden - Thornden Park, Syracuse, NY

• Sylvan Beach - Access to beach is free.  Free parking is available, but fills up quickly.  On weekends the bars have outside entertainment next to the beach. Inexpensive amusement park.
