Veterans Memorial Park at Gillie Lake

We stopped by Gillie Lake in Camillus to take the kids fishing. Lot's of little sunfish, a couple of Large Mouth Bass were caught. I've heard there are a few big fish in the lake, but not for us. The park has a few pavillions, plus many open tables for picnicking, plus a Lifeguarded beach for swimming. Nice little park. No admission, at least when we were there.

Just for fun, sometime this Summer, we are planning on adding a movie review section. We probably will include the ability for you to rate the movies yourself.

Park attractions include the Salt Museum, Marina, food vendors, free shuttle, nice playground, fishing pier, picnic tables and a great path for jogging, skating, bicycling. In the Winter it is home for Lights on the Lake. Nearby is Saint. Marie Among the Iroquois (Fort)
